What’s to Follow is an epistolary TTRPG game created with themes of nostalgia, memory, and character growth in mind. It asks what happens after the epilogue, when the adventuring party has disbanded, willingly or unwillingly, and its scattered members are left to find a way to move forward- or fail to do so.

What's to Follow invites you to write a series of letters between the characters, based on card pulls from a deck of playing cards. It is designed primarily as a single-player experience, but this version also includes a variant for 2-4 players, as well as a selection of example letters written over the course of the game.

The download includes a stylised rulebook, and a more printer-friendly plaintext version for the sake of accessibility. If you require any further accomodations to enjoy the game, please get in touch and I'll see if I can make any neccesary changes.

Have you considered making a version of the rulebook which keeps the formatting, borders, and illustrations of the stylized version but has a plain white background instead of the blotchy brown? This would make a relatively printer friendly version which is prettier than the plaintext version and a much smaller file size than the stylized version.
